Introduction

When processing documents in Spindle Document Distribution using the Exchange connector, you may encounter the warning shown in the screenshot below. This message is returned by the Microsoft Graph API and indicates that the service’s sending limit of 150 MB per 5‑minute period has been reached. This throughput restriction is a built‑in limitation imposed by Microsoft and is expected behavior when the API is under heavy load.

Screenshot of the warning in the Processor:

Resolution

Method A

The resolution for this warning is simply to keep the Processor window open and wait for the duration shown in the warning message. Once this time has elapsed, the Processor will automatically resume and continue processing the remaining documents as expected.

Method B

If you prefer not to wait, the only alternative is to reduce the volume of data being sent so the sending limit is not exceeded. You can reduce the load in the following ways:

  • Reduce the number of images included in each document.
  • Reduce file size being sent to Spindle Pro Auto
  • Reduce the number of documents sent within each 5‑minute window.

Locate the "Sending limit" feature in Spindle Document Distribution Tools > User Settings > Email Settings > Setup > Sending limit.
